Hello All,
”Parallels Desktop is the easiest, fastest, and most tightly integrated app for running Windows apps or the Windows desktop in Apple OS X.”Edward Mendelson, PCMag.com “The latest version of Parallels, the popular Windows virtualization tool for Mac OS X, almost feels like its trolling Apple.”.
I have been learning and taking courses about setting up virtual machines and I have been primarily using VM VirtualBox by Oracle. I have set up a couple different windows VMs, but I wanted to tryout setting up an OS X VM. I did a little bit of looking around for an OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan) .ISO file to use but wasn't able to come to any conclusions that appeared legitimate.
Where would be the best place to find it? Or is it even possible to obtain?
- Parallels Desktop for Mac is the first solution that gives Apple users the ability to run Windows, Linux or any other operating system and their critical applications at the same time as Mac OS X.
- I installed Windows 10 (64 bit) under Parallels 12 and Mac OS X 10.11.6. My Windows VM resolution is stuck at 1024x768 and the menu to change this is greyed out. I have tried installing twice with the same results.
Thanks!
Parallels For Mac 10.10.5
