In most cases, you'll want to click the green Software Instrument option, as doing so will allow you to add and edit sounds from your Mac's GarageBand library as well as use your Mac's keyboard as a piano. GarageBand is a fully equipped music creation studio right inside your Mac — with a complete sound library that includes instruments, presets for guitar and voice, and an incredible selection of session drummers and percussionists. One of the most interesting parts about TikTok is how a sound on the app can go viral independent of the video it's featured in. In many cases, viral TikTok sounds spawn massive trends that lead to hundreds of thousands of new videos. This has left many users wondering how they can use take these viral sounds and use them outside of the app.
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to use any TikTok sound as your ringtone or alarm for free using an online tool called Kapwing. We'll cover how to do this on both Android and iPhone separately.
